About the Pattern

The Pot Holder Parade sewing pattern is a sewing pattern that includes instructions to make 4 different styles of potholders (or hot pads).

  • Round Potholder Pattern (approx. 8")
  • Envelope Potholder Pattern (approx. 8" x 10")
  • Christmas Tree Potholder Pattern (approx 9" tall)
  • Stripey Potholder Pattern (approx 8" x 10")
  • Stripey Dishtowel Pattern (depends on size of the towel)

The pattern also includes instructions to make a matching stripey dishtowel (using a flour sack towel).

These are fun to make! Thank you, Melissa, for designing and making this pattern available. I made the bias tape using a FQ. I did not use the printable labels that came as a Bonus with the downloaded pattern; other printable labels on your website explicitly say they cannot be used on any items used to make a profit. I have added this pattern to My Favorite Patterns binder! 🙂

The patterns are easy to follow. The illustrations really help. All the potholders are so cute! I had trouble putting on the final binding, but that is not a failure of the pattern. Not sure if my machine can handle all of those layers. I can’t wait to make more!
