What are my Shipping Options?

We ship all printed patterns via First Class Priority Mail. Prices are calculated at checkout. All orders are shipped within 3-4 days of purchase. 

Digital Files are available immediately after purchase. 

Can I make Items to Sell with your Patterns?

Yes, as long as the purchaser is the only one sewing the items for sale. No mass production or commercial production is allowed.  You may not resell patterns. 

Are there Corrections for my Pattern?

We keep an updated list of pattern corrections on our website:


You can also find PDF downloads of some of the companion files of our printed patterns there as well.  If you feel that you have found an error in a pattern, please contact us and let us know. 

Where is my order?

If you ordered a Digital product (it will be noted in the title of the listing) a link was emailed to download the pattern. Simply click the link and it will download. Make sure you save it to your computer, if it just opens in a browser window it's not saved.

If you DID NOT get an email, check to see that the order went thru. If your PayPal email address is different than your regular email, check that email. For security reasons all PayPal orders are sent to you PayPal email address.

If you ordered a printed pattern (it will say PRINTED PATTERN) in the listing. All printed patterns are shipped within 3-4 business days. You will get a ship notice when your order is sent out.

I got a download limit error, what should I do?

Email us and we can add more downloads. However, note that if you try to download your order on more than 4 devices you will be blocked from downloading it again.

What is the difference between a Digital product and a Printed product?

A digital order is emailed to you. It's in Adobe Acrobat format and is formatted for you to easily print the pattern at home. Nothing is mailed to you. 

A Printed Product is a packaged paper pattern that will be mailed to you. Shipping charges apply.

Why are some products only Digital?

We would love to offer all our products as paper patterns, however space and budget do not allow for that. We watch for sales volume, demand and complexity. If a product is better served as a printed pattern, we print it.

Why can't I check out?

If you are outside of the United States you need to use our Etsy shop (etsy.com/shop/polkadotchair) for orders. They handle all the complicated overseas tax stuff for us.
