This bag is lightweight and features a pocket on the back and an adjustable strap!
It measures approx. 7″ x 9″ x 1″ deep.

This bag can be made from Fat Quarters and is a great way to use up some of your scraps. (A fat quarter is an 18″x22″ piece of fabric. You will also need various other interfacings/notions and fabric for the straps.

PLEASE NOTE: The pieces for this bag are cut using a rotary cutter and ruler, not paper pattern pieces.

Pattern includes color photos of each step, and detailed instructions to make creating your bag as easy as possible.

Fabric:

4 Fat Quarters OR 1/4 yard each of  4 different fabrics

1/4 Yard Fabric for Straps & Bag Gusset

Interfacing:

1 Yard 20” wide Fusible Fleece

1 Yard 20” wide Shape Flex Interfacing

Bag Straps: 2 yards 1” wide webbing for straps; cotton recommended

You can also use heavyweight 1“ ribbon or decorative webbing for the straps. If you do this, you do not need to purchase fabric for the straps.

Notions:

Rotary Cutter, Ruler & Cutting Mat

1 button or snap or KAM Snap

Purse D ring (1 1/2” or wider)

1 1/2” or wider purse slide buckle 

If desired, ribbons/trims to embellish the bag flap 

Recommended:  Walking Foot for Sewing Machine, Binding Clips
